MoldUP is totally responsible for the project engineering, mold construction management, trials and product delivery, assuming that every mold will be delivered according to the costumer's standards and specifications.
After receiving the tool order, MoldUP will begin the preliminary mold drawings that will be submitted to the customers for comments and approval. The approvals will give us the release to purchase the materials and continue with 3D mold drawings.
The preliminary mold drawings will include: mold dimensions, mechanisms, injection system, ejection and any non-standard components.
MoldUP will submit to the customer at the beginning of each new mold, a working plan highlighting all the detailed tasks. On a weekly basis, the customer will receive an updated progress report and digital pictures showing the mold evolution status.
By working with a group of highly qualified Mold making companies, we are able to supply to our customers a various number of molds, ranging from simple to complex and up to 15 Tons. Working in very close collaboration with our suppliers and customers, we can assure high quality molds and short lead times.
Using a network of injection trial facilities, with molding machines ranging from 25 to 1600 Tons, MoldUP are able to offer to the customer a wide range of possibilities by choosing the right machine for each job, reproducing similar conditions to those of mass production.
An inspection is made to each mold during the trial, to detect and anticipate any functional problems, together we perform a visual and cosmetic inspection to the samples. For each sampling, the parts and machine injection parameters are submitted to the customer for inspection and validation.
